Sideshow Collectibles is proud to present Hot Toys' ED-209 Sixth Scale Figure, from the 1987 classic, Robocop.
The
movie-accurate ED-209 is highly detailed featuring a newly sculpted
body, interchangeable battle damaged arm, and improved articulation in
the arms, legs and claws to better simulate the enforcement droid's
movements. The ED-209 MMS Sixth Scale Figure speaks three memorable
quotes along with various sound effects from the film.
The ED-209 Sixth Scale Figure features:
- Authentic and detailed fully realized likeness of ED-209 from RoboCop
- Newly sculpted body
- Approximately 35 cm tall
- Over 30 points of articulation
- Speak three (3) memorable quotes and various sound effects:
- 'Please put down your weapon. You have 20 seconds to comply.'
- 'You now have 15 seconds to comply.'
- 'You
are in direct violation of Penal Code 1.13, Section 9. You have 5
seconds to comply. Four...three...two...one...I am now authorized to
use physical force.'
- New arms, legs, and claws designed with improved articulation to simulate ED-209's movements

Just got it and unwrapped it instantly! Now I am stunned!
This model is a real Masterpiece and has all the original has, except firepower! ED-209
comes with a lot of details and full articulation (see picture below).
In resting position it is 37cm high, but rises almost 20cm up when in
action! His arms and legs can move in varrying agles and allow a lot of
interesting poses, that stay without problems.
A bit trick is the batteries insertion, due to the fact the original
instruction is wrong, but already updated with an extra instruction,
wich has erros too! So the main batterie compartment recieve 3x AAA
batteries, which are not included. The remote has 3x LR936
or
AG9 button cells included, which are secured with a plastic card which
has to be removed for use. These batteries are described as not
included in the plan, which confused me only a split second.
Most fun part ist the remote control that makes the ED-209 speak and a part of your home safty intallation! By pressing the button on the remote he will ask any intruder to put
down his weapon in an ultimat way! The remote also serves as a name
sign to be placed in front of the model to let viewers know the Movies
name it is from, so they don't know already. There shall be some....
