48 Special Models added the superbe 21st Century Display Models  to its E-shop range. Here are some additional information on these excellent Display Models we could not add to the shop pages, due to limited space.

Deutscher  Panzer IV Ausf. H in Eastern Front Camouflage

Sd.Kfz.  Panzer IV Ausf. H  in two color camouflage sheme as used at the Eastern Front and with side protection skirts. The included figures fit into the drivers and commanders hatch. The barrel, the MG and turret are turnable true to the original. All hatches can be opened! The MG on top is movable too, the tools and side skirts can be removed and the stowing compartments can be opened! At the side skirt are the tools and spare parts mounted on like on the original. All insignia are printed on! The back with the exhaust.  Also the lower hull is replicated true to the original. The tracks are made from rubber and run on the wheels!

The Panzer IV Ausführung H is the last built version of this very successfull German tank. It was used mainly in many front areas, also on the Eastern Front during the russia campagne. Characteristic for this version are it special side skirts at the sides of the turret and undercarriage. These should help to protect the relativly poor armored tank against the new armor piercing hollow charges used by russian infantry. With its 7.5cm gun the Panzer IV was armed to low at the end of war. But because the vehicle was widely used in the earlier versions it was easy to produce. These nicely aged 21st Century model has a broard variety of details. All tools an spar parts can be removed. The side skirts too. The track moves . All hatches can be opened. The MGs on turret and built into the hull are movable too. Included are also two nicely detailed and painted figures. The model is painted in the Eastern Front two color camouflage sheme and all insignia are printed on. The model will be deliverd in a display box screwed to a base.

Modellers who miss something on this highly detailed model are free to add more detail on there own. What is great on these models is they are not avaliable as kits in this scale at all and would be as expensive whitout beeing built too. So all models are made from plastic and be fixed with screws or superglue, they can be easiely disassambled and converted or detailed even more! A profi modeler will convert this model to a superior masterpiece easiely. The soldier figures are of the same size like for example the commander of the Tamiya King Tiger RC-Tank. Which means they are almost the same scale. Eather 1/16 or 1/18 scale? How ever they can be shown side by side with other models in 1/16 scale whitout sowing the difference to much. The enclosed soldier figures are of high quality in design and painting and need not to be redone. Who dislikes the moveable armes and legs may glue them in position andpaste the seams with putty. Most customers will like the model like it comes from the box and who hasn't the skill or time to modify the model gets a great model for a great price!
